Industrial Electrical Questions
Answers for facility managers and maintenance teams. Need something else? Call (647) 219-5112.
What types of industrial equipment do you troubleshoot?
We troubleshoot the electrical side of industrial equipment: control panels, PLC-driven systems, motors, variable frequency drives, relays, contactors, sensors and the wiring and power that feed them. Send the make and model and we will confirm it is something we can support before we visit. For dock levellers, vehicle restraints and overhead doors at warehouses, see our overhead door and loading dock electrical service.
Can you diagnose intermittent machine faults?
Yes. Intermittent faults are traced methodically, looking at when the fault happens, how often and what else is running, then checking connections, relays, power supplies and wiring. They can take longer than a hard failure, so photos, video of the fault and any fault codes help a great deal.
Do you offer PLC programming or control panel troubleshooting?
Our focus is electrical troubleshooting and repair of control panels and PLC-driven systems. If the fault points to the PLC program itself, tell us the controller make and model before the visit. We will confirm what we can do and whether the equipment builder or a programmer should be involved.
Can electrical work be scheduled around production hours?
Tell us your production schedule when you request service and we will plan the visit around it where the job allows. Work that needs power off is coordinated with you in advance. For urgent breakdowns, call (647) 219-5112.
What information should we provide when requesting service?
The equipment make, model and location, photos of the panel and nameplate, any fault code or HMI message, when the problem started and how often it happens, what changed recently, and your site access and lockout requirements.
Do you offer preventive electrical maintenance?
Yes. We offer preventive maintenance programs with scheduled inspections of panels, connections and wear items, followed by a summary of findings and recommended repairs. Timing is agreed with your facility.
Which areas do you serve for industrial electrical work?
We serve Toronto, Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Barrie, Innisfil and surrounding areas.
